An Update on my FHA Home Loan Modification

*Hello there again and God Bless YOU!!!

I wanted to give everyone an update regarding Our FHA Home Loan Modification…

We did receive the Approval for the Modification! Praise God!!! However, the Modification is only half of what I desired. We received a reduction on the interest - it was cut in half, which lowered our payment by $250.00 But, the Bank did not reduce the Principal of the Loan…

The home, according the The County Assessors Records, out home is currently worth only 60% of the original price we paid for five years ago…

Please pray along with my family and I, that the Bank will comply to one of the following options The Holy Spirit suggested to me…

I am going to file an appeal on the Modification, through my Counselor with the Bank and, my Counselor through Springboard, our Consumer Credit Counselor…

These are the options The Holy Spirit suggested to me:
  1. To reduce the Principal according to the current value of similar homes, like ours, within our zip code.
  2. To extend the term of the loan in order to reduce the payment.
  3. If the bank refuses to comply with either of the two options, then to grant me an extra month to begin my trial payments to December, instead of November, so that I can have more time to arrange my finances and bring them to order.

you are asking me to pray that you only have to repay 60% of the amount that you borrrowed ? :confused:
