I have started a new page on my site that provides tons of scanned images of the ancient Bible manuscripts. I will be organizing them within the next few days. Here is the link. litteralchristianlibrary.wetpaint.com/page/Ancient+Bible+Manuscripts

I have worked with the ancient manuscripts (editing and translating) for about 5 years now. I know not many people get into this area, but it may be of some interest for those who are interested in what the Scriptures looked like in the early Church.

Hi, COPLAND!

…are these translations your personal work? …do the scanned manuscripts have Aramaic incorporated in the text? …are you including notes on the origins of important text (the various Names of Yahweh in the Old Testament, the Mesianic Prophecies…)?

On this page that I put on, you will find a translation with the Isaiah scroll, that is not mine. Now the page that I posted on The Old Greek Version of Daniel is a manuscript that I have been translating, here is the link. litteralchristianlibrary.wetpaint.com/page/Daniel+Old+Greek+Version+My+Translation

The work that I have done with a few of the manuscripts that I have on the manuscript page I have not yet put on my site. That page is simply providing acess to many of the manuscirpts. But I did notice that I have to make some adjustments on some of the manuscripts on that page, some are not showing.

Very interesting, I couldn’t find which manuscript your translation is based on, what the date of it is and so on.

Here is the link to the manuscript that I have been working on. I have most of it translated but I still have more editing to do on that which I have not yet put on my site. I gave a little bit of information about it at the top of the page. But the ancient manuscript page is a separate page altogehter, but that manuscript that I have been working on is on the page also, it is Codex 967, and it was copied in the AD 100’s.

This is me.
But I am not sure I like that Wiki site or what ever its called.
I clicked on i ans saw very seductive half naked women.
What kind of a Christian site is that? Is it one?
Why would they allow profile pics or what ever of women in bikini’s?🤷

I agree, it started about a week after I started the site. Trust me, I did not “agree” to it, it was placed on there by whatever place runs the sites. It comes and goes, I was hoping it would go for good. I think it is advertisments for TV’s shows. I will have to think about something else if I can’t get it off the site. I agree, it is very tacky. I will try to contact whoever I can to see if they can not take that off. Sorry!

I just emailed Wetpaint.com and here is a copy of what I wrote.
Hello, I have a site litteralchristianlibrary.wetpaint.com And I have a request. There is a picture of a half naked seductive woman on the “wiki Survivor” link that I would appreciate if it would be changed to something more conservative or taken off. I have people who use the site that has brought it up to me, and it is embarrasing. I would be very grateful!
Thank you!

If anyone wants to email them too, here is the email. info@wetpaint.com

I just got a reply from the webmaster about the image on my site that we were talking about. Here it is.
Hi John,

Thanks for contacting Wetpaint.

The image you are seeing is part of our cross site promotion. We periodically
rotate in links (images) of other sites on the Wetpaint network. The image in
question is a character on the TV show “Survivor”. Wetpaint hosts the wiki fan
site for this show.

We do not have the ability to remove this part of the site interface on a site
by site basis, but that section can be collapsed so that the images hidden. One
has only to click on the “Other Wetpaint Wikis” title bar to close/hide the
section.
