What about the thousands of Martyrs who died for other religions?

The point of the *original *Christians being martyred is that they believed what they were saying or they wouldn’t have died for it.

Generally if someone just totally makes up a religion, they won’t die for it. The fact that the writers if the Gospels died for what they were saying shows their sincerity. The fact that the were reporting what they themselves experienced is evidence for the truth.
