I read about this some months ago… It’s interesting that the article states:
“The Birmingham Koran was found at the city’s university earlier this year after being lost for more than a century…”
So the importance of this find is that the Qur’an has essentially remained the same over centuries. It’s also significant that Ali ibn Abi Talib who was with the Prophet from the beginning of His revelation and was the fourth Caliph accepted the Qur’an during this entire period of time…from the beginning of the revelation until it was put in written form.
