Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?,‘My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?’’ Some said He was calling for Elijah.’ One of them got a sponge soaked it in wine, gave it to Him to drink; But the rest said ’ Wait let us see if Elijah comes to save Him.’ But Jesus cried out in a loud voice, and gave up His spirit… Today was the first Good Friday I spent alone with Jesus, I read from His entering into Jerusalem up until He breathed His last ,over and over, I envisioned Jesus going through insults, betrayals, beatings, scouring and being hammered into the cross. His dying…My heart was and is heavy… I realized, oh how much I love Him. God bless all of you and A blessed and Happy Easter:
