And now my aunt needs prayers- in ICU

Just found out my aunt is in the same hospital as Mario was, been there since Friday, in ICU. She is not quite 64, has a host of health problems, and now her BP dropped Friday. She is awake, but they are having a rough way to go to control this. We have always been close. I didn’t know about this until 9 PM-ish this evening, as she didn’t want “anyboy” to know.

Mario is doing better. We are concentrating on movements beyond the walker cha-cha, and getting his renal system working better. He can do basic hygiene stuff himself. He went to the early Mass this morning with us.

I will keep praying for all of the CAF intentions and offering sacrifices.
 
Praying for your aunt, now. And keeping Mario in prayer, too. Are the thickened liquids gone now?

May GOD bless your Aunt and Mario during these hard times.
I will also pray that he may strength the rest of your family as well. GOD bless you and your family Phoenix.

Lord, hear our prayers for Outinchgoburbs’ Aunt who is in hospital. Watch over her Lord, and grant her strength that she may overcome these health problems, and be blessed with a speedy recovery. Continue to watch over Mario Lord, and his family, as he recovers. May you continue to bless them all with your amazing grace!

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servants
For whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
That being restored to bodily health,
They may give thanks to You in Your Church.

They’ve been gone for about 11 days. His trache hole has just about healed up. And he’s home, been home since the Friday before Good Friday. And now is urinating- a lot.

:extrahappy: Praise God! Would you be comfortable sharing your aunt’s name/initials to make it easier to pray for her? Last night when I was praying for “Mario, his family, and his wife’s aunt” I thought it would be nice to have a name for her 🙂

Just pray for Aunt Pat. She is getting a pacemaker today, if they ever get back on schedule.
 
Update: Aunt Pat got her pacemaker last night at 11 PM (surgery was backed up). She is doing MUCH better, although sleepy. PRAISE GOD AND OUR LADY!!!

Mario filled the big 3000 cc jug, and was well into the next one at the 24 hour mark. We took the jugs in this morning, and the diagnostic place drew blood. He has been dizzy. Last night, he broke out in a sweat. He has not been eating as he should, and I am a pretty good cook.

I am very concerned about his scheduled dialysis today. His liquid (name removed by moderator)ut matches his output. These nurses will not let me go into dialysis with him, and even if they did,what would I do with the girls? The dialysis place is not as forthcoming with information, either. I am petrified of them doing dialysis just because there is an order, and the doctor is off today. The dizziness and sweating last night, the lack of vitamins in his diet- it all has me a bit scared.

So- Please pray along with me, as I pray for all of you.
