Lisa is a 20-something who was pregnant and in a severe accident. She was delivered of a healthy baby boy via c-section, but is in a coma and possibly has a lacerated liver.

Heavenly Father, have mercy on Your child Lisa, that she may heal and be mother to her child. Make them both healthy and draw them now and forever into Your immaculate heart. Mary, pray with us. Amen. :gopray2:
 
Update: Lisa made it through surgery. She isn’t breathing on her own, but woke up briefly. The nurse was able to explain to her that she’d had a bad accident, and her baby was born and safe. Lisa nodded and seemed to understand.

Lisa’s other little boy is with Lisa’s dad and grandfather (Lisa’s not married). Lisa’s boyfriend (the father of the baby) has put in a couple appearances at the hospital. It’s hoped that he will decide to participate.

The baby boy is on antibiotics, but otherwise is doing well, set to be released in a day or two.
 
One of our prayers has been answered. He went home with his aunt, grandpa and great-grandpa late yesterday:

Praying for Lisa with a Bible verse from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Reading 1 Thessalonians 5:23
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you in every way and preserve your life and your soul and your body without blemish, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Update: Doctors are not optimistic at all about Lisa at this point.

I made a mistake in the last post. The “other boy” is not Lisa’s, but her nephew. Just the baby.

Anyway, Lisa is not doing well. Please continue to pray.
 
I heartly join in prayers for Lisa .
Saving Jesus, I lift Lisa in prayers to You now in Your mighty Name and pray that she be healed and restored ! Cause her to wake up from coma and be sound in mind and body and spirit . Lord, hear our prayers for Lisa , her little baby and for her family .
Through Jesus Christ , our Lord and Saviour and through blessed intercession of Saint Archangel Raphael ( God has healed ) , Amen
