Before I woke up, I dreamt that I witnessed my own death. I remember my mom and dad were there and I think my sister. I was asking them for forgiveness before I died then I became a spirit and an angel came to take me away. He grabbed me with peace and said we need to go, while I was crying and seeing my dead body and seeing my parents crying.

Does this mean anything???

I am neither a psychologist nor a seer, but I would suggest that it means you have some concern, conscious or subconscious, about making things right with your family-some rift or unresolved issue, and your mind - or your guardian angel - is prodding you to deal with that situation because we never know when we will lose the opportunity to do so.

It could also be that you have some separation coming up that you’re anticipating, and your mind is recasting “leaving your family behind” as death.

It is certainly possible for a dream to be a vision from God, but it is more likely that a dream is your mind sorting things out, sometimes taking advantage of the fact that while you’re asleep you’re not consciously pushing away thoughts you would rather ignore.

I would suggest that you make it a point to connect with your family and express your love - which is something we can always do more of, to everyone’s benefit - and then not to worry about it (the dream, not connecting with your family . . .)

Perhaps it is a reminder that you, like all of us, need to always be preparing for death. We all die, and most people don’t know when they’re going to die. (Prisoners executed by the penal system do know, for example. LOL) But if we stay ready, we don’t have to worry about “getting ready” at the last minute. Who was it that said, “Man, remember your death, and you will never sin.” or some such thing?
