I lean more towards a monarchy too, for the same reasons given here. I also think it is most closely modelled off of the Kingdom of Heaven, being that Heaven is a Kingdom.

That said, there are stipulations I have. Government would be severely limited. And I would maintain a free-market. I would not permit a monarch to have complete control over everything in the land. In fact, I would hardly have him really doing anything.

Law would be guided and firmly rooted in a Constitution. In essence, the head of state would be a document and not a person. The Church would be heavily involved. I actually desire a theocracy or theocratic monarchy. The monarch would simply serve more or less as a figurehead of the nation, and as the commander in chief of the military forces.

Judicial means would be handled by the Church, or a judicial branch consisting of people appointed by the Church who could better do the job.
