Zbigniew Brzezinki’s indictment of the United States was so harsh—calling America “one of the most socially unjust societies in the world”—that even his own daughter Mika was taken aback, asking her father to explain himself.

But that didn’t stop Andrea Mitchell from emphatically agreeing with Zbigniew Brzezinki’s condemnation of the USA. In the course of doing so, Mitchell called the Tea Party and opposition to ObamaCare “exaggerated forms” of protest, while praising Occupy Wall Street as “a real movement.” Video after the jump.

Selfish people so afraid their money will get into the wrong hands but they instead say “Welfare will make them dependant” We suppot a whole lot worse who “depend” on us! From the militray hardware makers to pawn dictators we put in to keep out the commies when we knew that system was in decline and about to fall.

The US is not one f the most socially unjust nations–this could only be said by those who know *nothing *about life in most other nations in the world.

Well, the Communist nations like North Korea–where the income disparity is the difference between eating and literally dying of starvation, where people have no say in their government and little say in their lives–definitely less social justice there.

And most Third World nations, oh, you think the income disparity in the US is bad? The difference in lifestyle between most of the poor and the very richest is like the very richest have gold-plated faucets. In the Third World, the poor do not even have faucets. In some places, they do not even have free vaccinations–but PP sure can get there, with the permissions of the elites in those nations.

In the US, anyone can go anywhere and apply for a job. OK, right now there aren’t so many jobs, but most people can do something about their situation if only getting on welfare. A peasant in China, otoh, cannot even leave the countryside to go to the city to get a job.

Almost everyone in the US gets police protection. It may be slower in certain areas, like rural areas with fewer police officers. But look at Mexico, where there are areas with no police protection at all because the drug dealers have killed or run the police off.

Sheesh, some people just don’t know when they’ve got it good.

Socially unjust ignores the principal of FREEDOM America was founded on.

We have the Freedom to PURSUE Happiness, but not the guarantee that happiness will be provided to all regardless of their personal efforts.

Education is free to students K-12 and very affordable at Community Colleges. Anyone wanting a decent education leading to a decent job can get it, here in America. If only they apply themselves. Yet we have a 25% high school drop out rate in America.

Socially unjust? Perhaps. But whose fault is that? The schools are open and free.

I don’t care if the CEO makes 50 times or 500 times my salary. With the education I pursued, I am making a decent middle class income. I too would be poor if I chose to forego my educational opportunity.

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. No one has one second more or less. We are FREE to use that time as we see fit and garner the results of our personal effort. Yet we have about 9% of Americans addicted to drugs.

America is the most diverse country in the world. Many still seek to move here, legal or otherwise. We freed the slaves, allowed women to vote, and desegrated our schools. We have more minorities in high government office and in charge of successful businesses than any other country.

So the opportunity is certainly there. And we have many social safety nets for those who are truly in need.

Andrea Mitchell and Zbigniew Brzezinki are more than welcome to use their multi-million dollar salaries to help right a lot of social injustice.

Oh, wait. That’s right. Liberals like to be generous with somebody else’s money.

I wonder how she explains the fact that people from all over the world are DESPERATE to immigrate to America?

We’ve got plenty of problems, and not a few of them are due to the fact that the ‘new money rich’ in this country own one of the political parties and the ‘old money rich’ own the other one. But we’re still among the list of the best, not the list of the worst. To say otherwise is just plain willful ignorance.
