Angelic Catholic Church

Good morning,

My sister-in-law is a student at UC Irvine and early this morning she text messaged me if she could attend an “Angelic Catholic Church.” Does anyone know what she is talking about? I’m not sure if she meant something else because I tried to search it on Google and pretty much found nothing. Is this some sort of off branch off the Catholic Church or perhaps is it a branch that is in communion with us? Please let me know, thanks.

Chris, she might mean an “Anglo-Catholic” church.
 
Yes, I was thinking that might be what she meant also. I’ll have to call her to clarify later when she wakes up. I’ll keep you posted, thank you.
 
And, if it is an Anglo-Catholic church, no she cannot attend it.

She can find a parish to attend by going to the diocesan website and looking there, or going to www.masstimes.org

UNLESS… she’s talking about an Anglican USE Catholic Church, which is a legitimate option.
