I posted this in an older thread, but I think that doesn’t necessarily bump the thread. Since my question is about a sacramental, I reposted it here.

It says you can wear the medal instead of the cord around your waste. But it doesn’t say whether that medal has to be the medal with the two angels on either side of St. Thomas.
 
You just extremely sparked my interest in this confraternity because I love St. Thomas Aquinas. Thanks for sharing about this and I will check it out.
 
I just looked into this and I am pretty sure it has to be the medal of St. Thomas Aquinas that the confraternity sends in the packet you have to order.

Have you requested the packet yet?
 
I ordered the packet last Monday. It has not yet arrived. I think it takes about a week. I am not sure how long it will take after that. If they run it like they run the Rosary Confraternity, then it shouldn’t take much time at all.
 
Im part of this confraternity

The medal is indeed that of St. Thomas Aq and the Virgin of the Rosary

You have the option to wear the cord or the medal or the cord and medal which were properly blessed using the rite in the booklet
