Angels Defending Mecca

I’m a Veteran, and I am interested in global events. Now, the United States has been informed that Iranians who were anti Saudi Arabia went to Yemen to battle the regime of Saudi Arabia (where Mecca is). Is it along our principles to believe mercenaries who battle there and rip things up are doing the right thing? If Mecca is a place dedicated to God and worship of God, is that the plan? For angels to guide the mercenaries in the fierce battles which may prevent an attack on Mecca?

I do notice that we both have a few Archangels in common… and Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary are known to them in the Quran.
 
The virtual genocide in Yemen has been going on for what, a year now? If you are someone who distrusts the ‘leftist’ media, look up the long running coverage by The American Conservative magazine.

i am a veteran also

the muslim faith is fractured w/ schism

there is no central authority

so an individuall (charismatic) imman may be able to aasert a lot of influence w/ no regard to any superior to tell him otherwise

I don’t think that Christians have a side in the Sunni vs. Shia Muslim fighting which has been going on for a thousand years. We can say that the Iranian regime is terrorist and needs to be opposed.
 
I’m not sure about this, but I’d say I don’t think God takes sides like that. Remember Our Lady said that wars are a punishment from God. While God can and does make good come out of anything and everything, I don’t think He sides with SA vs Iran or something like that. In my view He would rather work to try to convert and save souls than worry so much about which country wins a particular conflict.

Just my humble opinion, I could absolutely be wrong, thanks for your service brother.

the 1979 attack on mecca changed everything

saudi arabia began to accomodate to the ultra-orthodox elements of the muslim faith
