I quoted this because many catholics/christians are in doubt about the existence of guardian angels.I feel my guardian angel’s existence and this heavenly creature is a part of my life.He has protected me several times in times of difficulty/danger in the past and he protects me now and will do in the future,let me say till the end of time.

Oh angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen
 
Thank you Cherubim for posting this!! The presence of my guardian angel is not something that was ever focused on in my Protestant upbringing (no offense to Protestants!) So to actually be taught about my angel, and to know without a doubt that mine is here right now with me…well, I have no words to explain the joy that I feel about that. 😃
 
I wish my angel would keep closer watch on my bicycle. I’ve been having major problems this past coupla weeks keeping air in the rear tire–this after about five years with nary a puncture.

If you did not mean this to be funny, I apologize, but it cracked me up! 😃 However, I hope that your tire stops going flat!! I just had to fix mine and my son’s bike tires today, in fact. Here’s to no more flats!

Yes, I love this one. I must admit, I don’t pray the whole chaplet daily (no time with my rosary and chaplet of divine mercy) but I do pray the prayer to St. Michael daily. (along with the prayer to my guardian angel) I think people tend to forget about their guardian angels…they are SOOOOO MUCH HELP AND COMFORT! A better friend in heaven you’ll never have!!!

Prayer to the Holy Guardian Angel

By my laziness and bad habits, I have angered thy most pure light, and have driven thee away from me by all my shameful deeds, lies, slanders, envy, condemnation, scorn, disobedience, brotherly-hatred, grudges, love of money, adultery, anger, meanness, greed, excess, talkativeness, negative and evil thoughts, proud ways, dissolute madness, having self-will in all the desires of the flesh. O my evil will, which even the dumb animals do not follow! How canst thou look at me or approach me who am like a stinking dog? Talking about your problem with your bicycle,ask your guardian angel for help with sincere heart and loving words:) he’ll watch over it and won’t let your tire get flat again unless it’s time to replace it because there’s a big hole in it:D

I did, in fact, intend my post to inject a little humor. I’m a convert, so I’m still a little hesitant about asking my GA anything. It’s enough that he has to ride along with me when I hit 45 mph coming down these rural Alabama hills :bigyikes:

I ask my Guardian Angel to protect me on the road, to make sure that I would yield the road to someone, and many other things - even to remind me pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00pm. 🙂
 
Okay, this is probably a question with an obvious answer. But how do we know there are nine choirs of angels?

Don’t be hesitate to ask for any kind of help to your GA.He’s here on earth sent by our Good God to protect us all the time and he intercedes our prayers to God as well.
