I’m sorry if this is in the wrong spot.
I have a few questions regarding the Catholic Church’s teachings on angels. Are angels created in the image of God as well? I have a feeling its no. In that case what characteristics do we have that they don’t that makes us created in the image and likeness of God?
I was told we are able to know and love God and that is what makes us created in his image of God. However are angels not also capable of doing this?
As well, many people have told me our ability to choose to love God (or not) is what makes us created in his image. But didn’t the angels choose to obey or disobey God (the fallen angels and the devil?)
Just a bit of confusion, I would appreciate any clarification. Thanks for your help and have a good day. God Bless.
