Hi

Does everyone have an angel or just believers? The CCC seems to exclude nonbelievers, and I’m not sure if that is the intended meaning.

Thank you for providing an avenue for questions.

I’ve always heard that every human being has a Guardian Angel, but then I could be wrong.

Just as Satan and his demons are constantly trying to lead people away from God, I think that angles are constantly trying to lead people closer to God, including the non-believers.

Personally in my prayers I ofter ask the angels to give guidance to my family.

According to Catholic teaching,every human as a guardian angel. Guardian angels are the lowest in the 9 choirs of angels.

I like this book as well.

I believe that you have a guardian angel with you at all times. Rather than try to enhance your worldly experience, I think that they are there to try to help you spiritually. (They might clear your path to get to church, but they may be less inclined to clear your path for that new car you want.)
 
This paragraph of the Catechism suggests all persons have a guardian angel:CCC#352 The Church venerates the angels who help her on her earthly pilgrimage and protect every human being.

I have a guardian angel I speak with her everyday, and she speaks back
 
CCC 336 From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. “Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.” Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.
