Anger itself is not sinful, however it becomes sinful through our expressions.

its natural to feel anger. its as the first post suggest, how we deal with it. We all have our own ways because we all feel angry at times.

anger definately becomes sinful if you are hurting others or yourself and the best medicine is love.

Anger can be righteous and just in certain situations. Anger is a response to a perceived injustice. Sometimes our perceptions do not warrant such a response though.

Anger becomes sinful when you choose it over God, or become “drunk” with anger.

God bless,

Wrath is one of the 7 deadly sins.

This link may give you the basis: blog.adw.org/2010/03/the-seven-deadly-sins-just-memorize-them/

Ultimately it is important to understand that the 7 deadly sins can also be called the seven capital vices. Its important to understand that these sins are not acts of sin. Experiencing the feelings is normal and is not something to confess. Its acting on these desires that we commit acts of sin that we need to confess. When you examine your conscious, you should consider the motivation and then look at your behavior to discover how you have expressed this sin. I often find going through the 7 deadly sins to be a better way to examine my conscious. I’m a very tightly strung person. Usually confession guides list sins that I typically answer “no. nope. no” and then I’m left thinking “Where are my sins?” Obvious those guides are not exhaustive. If I were to rely however on merely a list of what could be sinful, this would lead me to becoming overscruplous. Focusing on the 7 deadly sins helps me to not be too hard on myself and helps me to identify how I’m giving into my vices. Point is, there is not an exhaustive list and if there were, it would make it seem like righteous anger out of a sense of justice is immoral. It could give you the wrong impression that you’re supposed to be a doormat to people at all times.

Only you can discern from understanding the vice as to whether or not wrath has found expression in your actions.
