As one that dabbles in the world of Facebook, I will be watching this, for whatever it’s worth.

My nephews in law paste views of their children all over f***book, poisonous trash

I was using FB until I was attacked by ransom ware. It can be good or it can be bad, depending on how it is used. I had and used it as a vehicle for Catholic material for a lot of my friends and multi thousands of extended family members(I kid you not) Also, CA uses FB, as well. As far as Anglicans go, they are very close to the Catholic Church. If it hadn’t been for a certain English King who wanted to divorce, remarry, chop off a few heads and mess around, The Anglicans probably would never have split and still be within the fold. As I have quite a bit of English/Irish background it makes me wonder.😃 if said King might be lurking in my DNA somewhere…LOL!🙂

Georgy Porgy went out to play
Kissed the girls and ran away
Do you ever winder where certain
children rhymes come from!!!

That’s not quite how things happened, and my guess is that had it not been King Henry, it would have happened in another manner. The Church in England has always been pretty independent.

True. And had a history, for a few centuries, before Hank, of maneuvering to become more so.

Also, decree of nullity.

Did I get my Kings confused? No matter…Still wonder about my DNA. A relative has traced the family tree back into the 1500s’, with a family crest and all that, to Summerset, England. Hey, I might have royal blood or I might be Royal Pain. LOL!😃 Maybe good 'ol Henery’s???

To go back to the original post, I think it says a lot that Archbishop Welby and Cardinal Nichols are coming together again. I enjoyed the conversation they had with Nicky Gumbel - they seem to quite like each other. But more than that, there is a great deal of respect. Looking forward to getting up very early to watch it on Facebook.

No, you have the right man in mind. But the history is a little complicated.

Yes, I watched them in that conversation, too, and I share your impression.
