Anglican Church/ Church of England +Deuterocanonical Books?

Hi guys!

I know that the Church of England is some kind of a Protestant Church.

Now my question: Do they have the Deuterocanonical Books in their Bibles and do they also read them in mass? (Like the CC?)

What other differences are there between the Anglican Church and the CC, except that the Anglican Church rejects the pope and allows women ordination?
Is there anything other “protestant” about them? In Theologoy for example?
Or is it pretty much a “Catholic Church”? (Like the PNCC or the Old Catholic/Utrecht Churches)?

When I came here in CAF I read about the Episcopolean Churche(s).
I’ve never heard about them before. What are these for Churches and what do they believe in?
Are they also “half Catholic” like the Anglican Church?

Anglicans are a lot of different things. Kinda hard to pin them down.

The Deuterocanonical books are read in the Anglican liturgy, yes. I read from Baruch, as the Lesson, at High Mass. last night. Some Bibles as commonly used in Anglicanism have them, most don’t. Originally, back in 1611, they were there.

The primary difference, in general, between folks like the OCs or PNCC and Anglicans, in the eyes of the RCC, is that the RCC does not consider Anglican orders to be valid.

Episcopalians are one sort of Anglican, those who are in the official Anglican Communion, in the USA. There are other types. Episcopalians believe all sorts of stuff. Hard to generalize.

Some Anglicans don’t consider themselves protestants at all.

It’s all complicated.
