Some people really obsess far too much over colors. Of all things relevant to the proper celebration of a mass, the color of the vestments, seems to me, to be very low on the list.
[edited] For those of us who follow the liturgical life of the Church, liturgical colors are very important. They are highly prominent, visible symbols that the Church has devised over the centuries.
