If this post is not appropriate Moderators please remove it, I wasn’t sure if this was permitted on the forums, but would like to help others who want to become Catholic within the Ordinariate established by Pope Benedict for Anglicans/Episcopalians. It is very difficult to get the word out and I would not want to deny people of becoming part of Holy Mother Church because they feel alone with this desire and have no one to turn to for information on how to proceed.
Our parish had the five year visitation today of Auxillary Bishop Rutilo del Riego. When I met him I asked if Bishop Barnes the Bishop over the San Bernardino Diocese was open to an Ordinariate. He said yes.
I have no real contact with Anglicans/Episcopalians anymore since I was recieved into the Catholic Church by my former Episcopalian priest, who is now a Latin Rite priest, several years ago. In fact the Bishop referred me to him, which I thought was funny, it seems like such a small world.
If anyone is interested in having an Ordinariate established in any area of So. California, please PM me.
