Forget DC, man, Marvel is the greatest! LOL
Amen! I mean, come on… Marvel has the Falcon…DC has a guy with a hawk helmet. Marvel has Hawkeye…DC has a guy who looks like he just exited a gay parade version of Robin Hood. Marvel has Namor the Submariner, DC has a guy in orange tights riding dolphins.Forget DC, man, Marvel is the greatest! LOL![]()

DC is to comic books what the Episcopal Church USA is to Christianity.
The Twinkie version of comics. I do like Batman, and the Green Lantern is semi tolerable. The rest is for four years olds (granted, we’re grown men here talking about comics LOL)DC goes from one extreme to another: a guy who has no powers whatsoever but uses inventions and technology to kick butt (Batman) to a guy who can fly around the sun and alter the fabric of time and pick up Eifel Towers (Superman) to a guy with a ring (Green Lantern) LOL
When I was born, my brother named me; He named me after Daredevil LOL. I was never much into the X-Men, so I never read a lot of stuff with Magneto. Spiderman and Captain America are the bomb, however.I’m a big Magneto fan. I like his style. I like Spiderman (especially black suit baby!), Dr. Doom, X Men, Hulk, and love Daredevil! Marvel had the greatest bad guys, too. Although from DC I did like the Joker. Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Egg Head and the rest were really goofy lol…
LOL Bishop Katherine Jefferts-Schori, aka Wonder Woman.Regarding the Episcopal Church I think they’d adopt Wonder Woman as their fav only, and I mean only, if there is no transgender cross-dressing, dream-catcher-wearing, spandex super hero with a carbon footprint logo, a tiara, combat boots, and a “coexist” liberal bumper sticker on a Prius super getaway car…![]()

ROFL!! Bishop Schori, Rainbow Princess Power!Katharine Jefforts-Schiori was one of the Wonder Twins on the Super Friends cartoon.
“Wonder Twin powers, activate: turn me into a feminist, horse-faced witch with ambitions of litigation and collapsing a once-proud denomination!”
I was the Penguin. Now I am Nelson.I suppose that there is no way around this.
I think you over estimate my intensions for the word joker.
I know who you really are; you are the penguin!
P.S. Don’t complain if these images don’t load properly (I’m too old to do these things)!
You traduce DC Comics, in the comparision.Amen! I mean, come on… Marvel has the Falcon…DC has a guy with a hawk helmet. Marvel has Hawkeye…DC has a guy who looks like he just exited a gay parade version of Robin Hood. Marvel has Namor the Submariner, DC has a guy in orange tights riding dolphins.

Exactly LOLYou traduce DC Comics, in the comparision.

Exactly LOL
I agree. Wolverine was more fun when he was a bad guy and the Hulk was tossing him around like a rag doll.Although there are a couple of characters I find tiresome, the Punisher would be top of that list. He was interesting as an occassional antagonist but I agree with a couple of writers like Kurt Busiek and Peter David who find him distasteful. Wolverine is another character who could do with less screen time, I was actually a fan of that character way back in the day when he was written as trying to control his anger and with some nuances and not just as a guy with ‘kewl’ claws as he too often is.
Now THAT is an insult!Marvel would be more like maybe the Baptists of comic books possibly![]()
No one would believe such a thing. It’s totally unreal, stretches credulity…oh. wait…I was thinking of designing a new Marvel villain to fight the X Men or Spider Man. It would be Katharine Jefforts Schiori as herself during the day but when she becomes angry she turns into The Litigator, a wild lawyer that’s a cross between the Punisher, Humbug, Sabertooth, and Johnny Cochrane. She sues break-off conservative parishes/dioceses and plays to win. Red eyes, purple and black trench coat, wild and gauddy three piece double breasted suit, and a briefcase that, when you open it, blinds you permanently, and her voice sounds like that anonymous computer sound they use on 20/20 or Nightline when they want to preserve the identity of an informant or squeeler.
Frank Castle is my Latin classicist daughter’s favorite comic character.
And I have this thing for classic Wolverine, considering his lineage, and all. I know his father.
That’s motley crew, there.
GKC
Are you sure about that? I am 51 years young.Nope. No way at all.
I was the Penguin. Now I am Nelson.
And likely I am older than you. Maybe.
GKC
Absolutely positive about that, now. When you were born, I was in the 8th grade. Are you sure about that? I am 51 years young.![]()
I have my standards. You and your motley crew reference. You just can’t handle anything after motley except crew! LOL…I like lot! or band!
Oh my…Absolutely positive about that, now. When you were born, I was in the 8th grade.

There are times when I really love these forums…DC is to comic books what the Episcopal Church USA is to Christianity.
