What are the difference between animal soul and human soul? Why only human soul continue afterlife? We know that animals have feelings, memories, and in some case can learn moral values (police dogs) and this isn’t material things, they have a imaterial soul not a material soul, If their soul is imaterial, why stop to death? Why our soul not stop to death also?

Police and military dogs don’t learn moral values, they learn how to chase and bring down the bad guy.
It’s a game they love playing, like fetch!

Human soul is rational, animal soul is not.
Why only human soul continue afterlife?
The Church does not seem to have any dogmas saying anything about animal souls ceasing to exist at death or not ceasing to exist at death.

We know that the standard proofs for immortality of human soul do not work for animal souls.

It is true that if you could prove that feelings (or memory) are immaterial, that would lead to conclusion that animal souls are immortal.

But can you actually prove that feelings are immaterial?

Proving that memory is immaterial is likely to be still harder - you’d have to deal with objection that computers have memory too, and they have no souls at all, as they are not substances.
