I saw a post on facebook where the person was saying, “Primrose is a very dedicated catholic. She had a tone of communion wafers today.”
Primrose is a dog. And this person isn’t Catholic (last I heard) but her husband is. There is a picture of her dog receiving what looks uncomfortably like the Host. I don’t think it actually IS, like, maybe it’s unconsecrated …but…am I wrong for thinking that a dog (or any other animal for that matter) should NOT receive holy communion? If it IS ok…then I stand corrected.
Whether or not that’s what really happened, I still wanna settle it for my own peace of mind.
Thanks!
