What you are saying is very Eastern. We are pure consciousness witnessing the thoughts of the intellect.
 
How does that reconcile with a few trillion babies who can never make it past limbo?.
 
So funny how we think we can speak definitively about something we actually know nothing about.
 
The OP has not provided a sufficient argument to posit that mind is immortal based merely on being irreducible.

We cannot know if animals have an afterlife. I would like to think they do, however none of us can know with certainty.
 
While I would love to see my FOXY LADY in life everlasting, I doubt she would be foremost in my mind once I could hide bodily in our LORD 'S arms!

That, rather than arguing the animal issue from either side, should be our primary focus.

Even on earth animals are not capable of experiencing God and the world in the same way humans can. That does not mean they dont exist.
 
I can’t speak for cats, but dogs seem to know the difference between right and wrong, and the seem to know love for their human companions. Love and discernment are pretty high functions.

This doesn’t seem to rule out animals being present in Heaven, just not involved in the Beatific Vision. Correct? Or is there more to it?
 
There’s no evidence that their soul exists in Heaven after death.

However, when God creates the New Earth, they could exist again. We’ll all have new bodies.
