I enjoyed the movie but the manga makes me leery. Hollywood would tone down things for sure.Well, Korea isn’t Japan: it’s 1/4 Protestant, and most of those are the “Gospel of Prosperity”/“Pope is the Antichrist” types.

Although it’s a completely fluffy gag manga without a plot, and clergy of any kind don’t appear, the odd little manga “Saint Young Men” was largely unobjectionable. At least the Japanese know the Virgin Mary being Jesus’ mother is significant, which eludes a lot of Protestants.
Yeah but so is Hellsing and even then I enjoyed it better than I did the Priest movie.

Well it certainly broke my Absurd-O-Meter.
My friend highly recommended that I read that one for laughs. When I first saw it, I was a bit wary myself for fear of blasphemy but when my buddy narrated some of the stuff he saw, I nearly hurt my ribs laughing. XD
Ps&Gb… I think is blasphemous… I haven’t watched the show, but from the things I’ve read about the series, I don’t want to waste time (or be in ocassion of sin) watching it.
