I didn’t include Pokemon because I still carry on with it today. I don’t watch the anime and I don’t collect the cards, but give me some good old Pokemon Red and Silver any day of the week !

I actually dabble into Pokemon sometimes when I’m a bit bored. Suffice it to say, despite the many teams I’ve made, I’ve yet to fully realize my ideal one. XD

I did get to draft free once with him though and it was fun. I got everyone’s commons, etc., because they already had enough so I walked away with plenty of cards from the expansion… but I couldn’t do it as often as them. Besides I’m not as competitive as that lot are like.

Lucky you, most of the folks I saw playing in the Prerelease got their own sponsors. The best I managed to get was a common and an uncommon. I guess I shouldn’t complain. That’ll only make things worse with them anyways.

Right now I’m just hoping to get that really epic Mythic Rare (and at the price I’m banking on). My LGS opens only Fri-Sat and only during the afternoon. I’m praying to God the tense atmosphere in that place doesn’t jinx my chances.

Anyways, it’s funny that my current deck, as much as I like it, isn’t really the deck that expresses ‘me’ in a way. (It’s a Blue-Black zombie deck for this format called Commander.) The deck I really wanna make is a Blue-Red-Green with emphasis on dragons and spell replication. >w< If I get it right, I’ll be the M:TG version of a Kamen Rider. I doubt even angels can withstand my dual Banefire! XD (Unless of course, said angels are like that one shy one from Sora no Otoshimono. Not that I can’t take one on but I’ll just be rendered powerless from the moe. Moe… my ultimate weakness. >_<)

On the other hand, the primary colors of both decks (Red for dragons and Black for zombies) don’t seem to like White very much.

Isn’t School Days one of those… explicitly sexual anime/visual novels?

It’s based on an eroge i.e a sex game. Many animes are based on those, sadly School Days retains some of that character with actual sex (not shown graphically) and murder in the anime series. Anime series which were based on eroge games but do not contain sex (in any way) or violence are To Heart, To Heart 2, Canvas 2, Sister Princess (not an eroge though but a renai game - i.e. romantic love only without any sex), Kanon, Air, Shuffle, Clannad, Ef a Tale of Memories, Chaos Head and Steins;Gate. 11Eyes is another one of these but it has a sex scene in it although I think it’s in a parallel universe. It’s also very violent and some characters die off.

Those interested in seeing a really good anime without perverted stuff and with some good moral teaching should see Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions (April release in US/Canada on Bluray/DVD format). The Opening Song by Otogi8 is also super cool .
For some reason it makes me think of Akiba48.

On an O/T point: I just saw that my Zero’s Familiar Region 1 boxset now retails for $249.95 on Ebay! It only cost me $50 odd when it came out several years ago. It’s out of print. It grew better in value than gold! Of course I am not sharing Luise with anyone even though Lost Wanderer may beg, she stays mine. She has after all the ideal female character and personality, as he’d readily admit.

Actually, I consider F/SN to be one of those rare eroge that actually have a good story that’s not centered on sex. -.-

Did you see the price of the F/S Night import BD boxset? MSRP is $500 and actual price is $380 for 13 lousy episodes in sub format only. It’s a direct import I guess. Then again each Japanese 3 episode Bluray of A Certain Scientific Railgun is $96!

I’m afraid I’m gonna have to read up more on Tsukaima to give a serious response.
I will say though that Saber’s character seems substantial compared to your typical eroge shoujo.

Okay that’s it. I’m going back to where I left off. You have no idea how many times I’ve heard people say here that Bleach was going to last forever. >.>;;;

This next arc in Bleach that just started today is confirmed to be the last one, but Kubo says he’s going to make it even longer than the Arrancar arc. So basically Bleach is still going to be around for a few years unless it gets cancelled.

lol, I am having a hard time getting into the ‘mod’ arc (is that what they call the one with the mod souls in the stuffed dolls and the weird vampire like characters). Though I do really like bleach, I can’t seem to get into this part. It is like, they have these awesome powers to beat the captains, and then suddenly they are completely useless and ineffectual.

I am however, rewatching Naruto, and reliving my glory days of “real” anime. Though I must say, it is way better subbed than it was dubbed, but I liked the intro song to the dubbed version better. I have also forgotten how much filler and episodes where nothing happens there is/are. Luckily the episodes are short and if I get one of those episodes quickly go to the next.

That was all part of the Bounts arc (bounts = vampires) which is all filler, so it’s not just you - almost nobody liked it. Bleach in particular really overdoes it with the filler stories, so you’re probably better off just skipping those parts like I do now.

lol, that is good to know about Bleach. The first time through Naruto I made it to Naruto Shippuden part, but I am not sure how far (Pretty far I suppose but I haven’t watched in over 3 years).

I really enjoyed what I’ve read so far. Little heavy on the fanservice at times, but I like a lot of the themes in the series and the characters, too. Art’s pretty nice, too.

I see US anime houses releasing the likes of Sekirei I and II, Master of Martial Arts and Queen’s Blade I and II !!!1 but no A Certain Scientific Railgun, which IMO is one of the top 10 mainstream shows ever made, or Seitokai No Ichizon with Kurimu Sakurano. Minami Ke (1st season) is also another great series which missed US release. Come on.
