No there’s no ero stuff or incest. So far they’re a brother and sister team. The sister however wants to stuff her brother, if he gets killed or he stops working. The sister is a bit of a tsundere.
What’s nice is that they didn’t kill anybody in first two eps. Except for a unicorm. Unicorns are man eating monsters in this show.
What is troubling is that the girl thinks she is collecting relics/remnants of her father, in order to lay him to rest. But competing authorities want to collect the parts for themselves in order to prevent a return of this evil emperor who was obviously a magician of great power. Of course she is being used and I suspect that when they collect enough parts, the evil king may return and maybe, just maybe this trio will turn on him when they discover his evil plans of world domination.
The goth loli girl however seems entirely innocent and the two who are assisting her seem to be decent. As said, there is no erotic stuff/fanservice in the anime itself.
I’m following this. If there is dodgy stuff I’ll keep u updated.

Dude the most atrocious premise, as long as the wackiness is there…and moe characters, they compensate for the bland stories. And look how popular Game of Thrones is…I guess I’m just too old for this any more.

Bah, we watch anime for the moe. Without moe, there is just endless grunting and shouting in anime, as well as endless ero, big swords and excessive and unnecessary violence… never mind the convoluted plots.
Black Bullet is very moe. But it is also too violent IMO.

I see. I was reading that the manga hints at something more.
The little girl of Black Bullet is disturbing (I have watched the first ep). At first I though she was an older girl with a small body like Taiga, but it seems she is indeed a little girl.

Manga does not always follow anime and I haven’t read the manga. If you’re wondering if there is any sexual stuff, I haven’t really noticed any. And no gore yet.
The little girl of Black Bullet is disturbing (I have watched the first ep). At first I though she was an older girl with a small body like Taiga, but it seems she is indeed a little girl.
It is disturbing. And I think this anime follows the Madoka premise, let’s make a story with killing where little girls get killed. So far none killed although episode 2 has something very close to it, they redeem themselves at the last moment. I won’t spoil it. Again it’s very unrealistic.
I may drop Black Bullet if they start becoming bloody.
I haven’t seen Isshuukan Friends, is it good?

Moe has varied meanings but essentially usually means an endearing, cute character who is there to be protected from bad things.
Ero = Japlish for erotica.
There is no ero, which is a good thing. Presence of moe is a good thing, unless one has a sexual thing for moe, which is disturbing.

I have read that the manga has more incest tones.
So far (the two episodes I’ve watched), Ishuukan Friends is good. Very cute, and the protagonist girl is very moé.

None of that in the anime. And the male hero is not going either after his sister, or the gothloli Chaika. However I think the show will get darker, the coffin may not just be a reference to her gun carrying case, but perhaps she is an undead of some sort which would suck.
I’ll give it a go.

The only anime I’m actually not watching for the story at all is the one I’m still following: Cardfight Vanguard. And yes, it’s because it’s one big commercial/spoiler list for those who play the game.
In fairness it’s gone real popular over here. (I mean to the point that it’s Yu-Gi-Oh!'s turn to get a run for its money). I’m a frequent semi-finalist myself at local tourneys. I hope y’all don’t mind me shamelessly recommending the game here.
Yesh. Moe is good. However, that is why it would be icing on cake if GoT were styled more along those lines… and more faithful to the books too. I started reading instead and refused to watch Season 3 when I learned that the infamous Red Wedding actually has a dramatically different kill count. Same goes for some characters who were killed in the series but actually had significant roles in the books later on.
It’s like killing Kenshin Himura all over again.

The number of good shows from recent seasons is limited. And not only for uninteresting stories, but for the amount of incest, yuri, or yaoi bait shows (I include fanservice too, but that is common now, so people already know some shows have it. The other three things, not so much).
Haven’t watched that one. Does it has fanservice or the strange things that are becoming so common in shows now?
Dropped after a few episodes, fanservice and too much otaku pandering.
That one is very interesting, I haven’t finished it yet.
A funny premise, but ruined at the introduction of a new character in the third episode, what a creepy chapter ending. Dropped too at said episode.
Usually I avoid titles based on card games, or toys (exception, Transformers, and similar). Is good? I’m still planning to watch Log Horizon (one of my friends IRL agrees that it is amazing), but probably not until summer. I’m in the middle of waaay too many stories right now. I haven’t even finished Attack on Titan.
Coppelion looked interesting, but I haven’t heard much about it. I’ll probably look up reviews for things before watching from now on (I usually do anyway). Every time I try to watch a series based on whether the premise looks cool, I end up with shlock or something nasty.
With regard to moe, I’d say it can have some negative connotations. I often hear it used to mean that a series has cute characters but little to no depth. Of course, that’s fine if you’re not looking for depth, but it’s not really my style. I think we just had this conversation a few pages ago, so I’ll refrain from saying anything more.

And here I recommend an old but still a very good anime, Key the Metal Idol.
BTW a premise a bit like Coppelion is what The Dark Brynhldr is based on. It has some nudity in it and a lot of gore.
So far I still recommend The Coffin Princess.

I’ve seen the first few eps of Coppelion and watched the last ep too to make sure it didn’t suck by doing something really stupid. I’ll be watching it when I get some time.
Moe can have negative connotations, but that’s because it can be used as a gimmick. But so can explosions. So can violence. So can magic. So can anything else really. What’s so nice about Japan is that they can make serious stories with moe characters, unlike us Westerners who think moe is only for children.
