She does a great job of cutting to the real meat of the left wing agenda, and does so with a great amount of wit.

But she does stick her foot in it occasionally, and when she does so, she does so BIG.

you can give them to me… :o

yeah, maybe you’re right… .maybe that’s how poster meant “wicked”…

hope so…

otherwise we may have one those oxymoron things going on…

i think that’s the word for it…

… the word for “liberal Catholic”… ??

(am i understanding the term “oxymoron” correctly??)
Agreed… I feel there SHOULD be no such thing as a “liberal catholic.” Unfortunately they seem to be out there… :hmmm: A friend of mine says she’s Catholic, goes to mass every Sunday with her family, but supports things that go strongly against the Church’s teachings (I won’t go into them here, but you know, the “usual” politics).

(oh, and looks like I was wrong on my “wicked” guess… oh well!)

Love her, oh and by the way she is Catholic - though people often describe her as a wasp.

kinda strange for someone who goes to DAILY Mass to be like that…

she must be kinda young?? 🤷

this is weird because i thought i read from her own words that she was a wasp… MAybe i misunderstood?? the memory isn’t too clear so probably so…

i was wondering how someone could … sound like she does… say the things she does and NOT be Catholic…

I knew(or thought) her father was Catholic…

can you give an example?

i probably have an example on my Favorite Ann Coulter Sayings list…

hmmm… let’s see… :hmmm::coffeeread:

Distracted,
Wow you and I agree on something :D. Maybe we aren’t as different as I thought:p
what’s one thing we disagree on?

can’t keep track of all the differnet posters and what they say…

(i can barely keep track of what I say… :D)’

Here’s one of my favorite from Coulter:

"According to liberals, the message of Jesus… is something along the lines of ‘be nice to people.’ … In fact, Jesus’ distinctive ‘message’ was: People are sinful and need to be redeemed, and this is your lucky day because I’m here to redeem you even though you don’t deserve it and I have to get the **** kicked out of me to do it. That is the reason He is called ‘Christ the Redeemer’ rather than 'Christ the Moron Driving Around in a Volvo with a “Be Nice to People” Bumper Sticker on it.”

😃

Actually, I think she’s a Presbyterian. Her father was a Catholic. When she says things that sound outrageous, she’s engaging in a parody of the ridiculous things liberals say with impunity.

Ann Coulter on safe flying after 911:

Like many of you, I carefully reviewed the lawsuits against the airlines in order to determine which airlines… engaged in the egregious discrimination [against Muslim men] so I could fly only those airlines… What a wasted marketing opportunity! Imagine the great slogans the airlines could use: “Now frisking All Arabs - Twice!”… “More Civil-Rights Lawsuits Brought by Arabs than Any Other Airline!”… “The Friendly Skies - Unless You’re an Arab!”

No I dont like her. She reminds me of the Catholic version of me. 😃

She had great points I already brought up in social circles about race and acknowlegements.

Unfortuneately, her princess attitude and uptight defensiveness is very ignorant and paints her self righteous.
well… ummm… maybe you ought to change your stated religion on CAF… says Catholic…

so why do you say “Catholic version of me”??

I leant to books to a couple of friends, so they’re not handy. Must spread the wealth, you see, as The Dear Leader wishes.
he wouldn’t tell ME to spread my “wealth”… (my faith)… might make it seem like there is a god other than him…

😃

wick·ed (wkd)
adj. wick·ed·er, wick·ed·est
  1. Evil by nature and in practice: “this wicked man Hitler, the repository and embodiment of many forms of soul-destroying hatred” (Winston S. Churchill).
  2. Playfully malicious or mischievous: a wicked prank; a critic’s wicked wit.
  3. Severe and distressing: a wicked cough; a wicked gash; wicked driving conditions.
  4. Highly offensive; obnoxious: a wicked stench.
  5. Slang Strikingly good, effective, or skillful: a wicked curve ball; a wicked imitation.
    adv. Slang
Used as an intensive: “a … body suit, which she describes as wicked comfortable” (Nathan Cobb).
I am basing that on the countless hours that I have observed her on Fox news and the many excerpts that I have read from her books.

I started out the claim indicating that I, obviously, did not know her. However, as far as I can tell from the media interactions that I have had, she fits this definition very well.
which one? 4?

5?

Good people do not say the garbage below. I am holding out judgement because I simply do not know her. It is possible, and I certainly hope, that this is all an act. It is painful for me to believe that these can truly be the thoughts of a fellow American.

."
then i guess i am not a good person for appreciating the humor?

i really doubt she means this stuff absolutely literally…

are you English or somethihg?😃

or just a liberal?

What she says on terrorism:

One hundred percent of the terrorist attacks on commercial airlines based in America for twenty years have been committed by Muslims. When there is a 100 percent chance, it ceases to be a profile. It’s called a “description of the suspect.” - Treason, p 265

[In one interview she was asked about her support of Muslim-free travel]: “And how would Muslims travel?” / “They could use flying carpets.”

Distracted,
I have some friends who allude to Jesus as a loving man. Mind you they do not give Him the recognition as the Son of God which each and every Catholic knows well but judge Him as if He is and was but a man.

Some of my friends attack the church on the one hand as not being ‘inclusive’ which to me is a PC term used to add legitimacy to their own values and not the teaching as taught by Jesus. They want a loving God who favors them AND THEIR SINS who is a forgiving God so that they might continue in the lifestyle to which they have adopted. Oh well! 🤷

She’s in her early 30s. I guess it is just hard for me to understand the Catholic and Liberal thing… I thought I was “liberal,” but that was when I was 17-18… I think most 17-18 year olds think they are liberal! I also changed my mind quickly once I had my reversion.

I just pray for her and hope I can bring a more orthodox perspective in her life. I think she’s just a little confused. 😉

This is from wikipedia for what’s it’s worth:
Religious views

Coulter says that she holds Christian beliefs, but has not declared her membership in any particular denomination; she has mentioned that her father was Catholic while her mother was not. At one public lecture she said: "I don’t care about anything else: Christ died for my sins and nothing else matters…
