do you like her?

i never thought i would because i didn’t like her book covers… couldn’t figure out why she dressed in those cocktail dresses…

but then i read taht she does that to irritate the liberals…

i would have read her books a long time ago if i had known *that *… 😃

I have found a kindred spirit… 🙂
No, I don’t like her.

As for the dress, uhm… if she thinks it irritates the liberals, well, liberals would laugh in her face. She does it to sell books. That’s all.

Her sense of humor doesn’t match with mine, but I have a simple solution for that. I don’t buy her books, watch her on TV or listen to her on the radio. I have no issue with people who like her stuff though-free choice.

IMHO, all these political commentators on both sides do what they do to sell books and get better ratings for their shows-in other words-for MONEY. If they could make more money doing something else, they’d abandon their “positions” in a heartbeat.

are you English or somethihg?😃

or just a liberal?
Coulter debases political discourse to this level: If someone disagrees with her that person is either foreign or a liberal. I am not a liberal (far from it) and although I am not an American (a proud Spaniard) I don’t think that excludes me from rational thinking or in any way constitutes an excuse to cast aside my opinions. This woman is merely the right-winged equivalent of now senator (shudder) Al Franken. For all their thousands and thousands of pages trying to justify their claims, their arguments really can be reduced to the satements “you are a lyar” and “you are a pusilanimous traitor”.

The excuse that her remarks are mere humor or hyperbole would be valid… if it were not for the fact that they constitute the core of her arguments. She makes some valid points every now and again, but the fact that they come out of her mouth does them an ill favor. There are enough intelligent and humorous conservatives who are much more skilled at public discourse than she is that we have no need of her.

As a sidenote I don’t know whether or not she is a Catholic, but her views on religion are far from it. When I heard her talk about Christianity and salvation I was sure she must be a protestant of some sort.

Ditto. And I completely agree.

Ann Colter is both wicked and hateful. Enough said. And yes, I am a Liberal and proud of it.

Stunningly, Ann Coulter is not Catholic, but IS pro-life … vehemently pro-life … unapologetically pro-life. But then Rush Limbaugh is not Catholic either [that we know of] and he is more pro-life than the majority of Catholics [who voted for Barak Obama]. And Mark Levin is not Catholic, either … very Jewish … and is also extremely pro-life.

Go figure.

Anyway, if you buy Ann Coulter’s books, she will be able to afford to buy some food and actually eat and maybe gain a few pounds. And also buy some clothes that have more cloth [or leather] to them.

www.anncoulter.com

Oh, and if you click on the link today, you can read her mocking the liberals position on government controlled medical/health care … “Take two aspirin and call me when your cancer reaches stage 4”.

P.S. She may be older than you think … almost 50 … looks pretty good for an almost 50-year-old.

She may have been born on December 8th … 1961

There are a fair number of googled rsults:

freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1678841/posts

She’s been on BookTV a bunch of times (owing to the fact that she has had a bunch of NY Times best sellers. But right now, her appearances cannot be viewed on the BookTV Web site, although some footage is on YouTube.

yeah but liberals don’t go to Heaven… 😦

i know this because in the Word it says Thou Shalt not kill…

really esoteric stuff like that…

why so hard to figure? Before i was “virulently” (catechized) Catholic, i was pro-life… I was pro-life even back when i was VERY young and sorta “liberal” (like virtually all young people are if they are not taught better)… I was “vehemently” pro-life the minute i saw a photo of an aborted child… I cried & told myself i would never do that even if my life was in danger… which incidentally… veyr few women’s lives are endangered in childbirth but MANY are endangered by abortion, which causes more deaths than anyone would care to know… (these maternal deaths from abortion are covered up, though, by the media … Surprise surprise:rolleyes:)…
If you are not pro-life after looking at these photos, something is wrong…

😃 I’m going to buy them or at least read them… for another reason… As stated, i have found a kindred spirit… someone who doesn’t call wht Roeder did “murder”… (she calls it “a termination in the 240th trimester” :D)

Good people do not say the garbage below. I am holding out judgement because I simply do not know her. It is possible, and I certainly hope, that this is all an act. It is painful for me to believe that these can truly be the thoughts of a fellow American.

"Liberal soccer moms are precisely as likely to receive anthrax in the mail as to develop a capacity for linear thinking. "

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren’t punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That’s war. And this is war. "

nationalreview.com/coulter/coulter.shtml

"Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America’s self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant. "

"“If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women. It also makes the point, it is kind of embarrassing, the Democratic Party ought to be hanging its head in shame, that it has so much difficulty getting men to vote for it. I mean, you do see it’s the party of women and 'We’ll pay for health care and tuition and day care – and here, what else can we give you, soccer moms?”

“I was going to have a few comments about John Edwards but you have to go into rehab if you use the word ******.” --at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference

“These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband’s deaths so much.” -on 9/11 widows who have been critical of the Bush administration

“My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building.”

“Press passes can’t be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President.”

“Gore said foreigners are not worried about ‘what the terrorist networks are going to do, but about what we’re going to do.’ Good. They should be worried. They hate us? We hate them. Americans don’t want to make Islamic fanatics love us. We want to make them die. There’s nothing like horrendous physical pain to quell anger. Japanese Kamikazes pilots hated us once, too. A couple of well-aimed nuclear weapons got their attention. Now they are gentle little lambs.”
Hi jjdruy, Good heavens! and she is a Christian, with the love and support of the above Catholics??? How absolutly dreadful to have to make your living in that way! People will know you by the books you read and the company you keep and so will you know who.:tsktsk::eek:

P.S I am a Catholic ,a Democrat, and Pro life. Yes, I do know that only God can judge the intentions of peoples hearts and I will just leave it at that.

and they’ll know you by what you did or didn’t do for the unborn…

who are far from being the least of Christ’s brethren… .(st Mt 25;31)

Ann Coulter might be pro-life, but she’s also a nasty woman. The other problem is that her entire demeanor is designed not to convince, but to ridicule. She literally preaches to the choir: “Look how stupid and evil the other people are! They aren’t worth talking to! They don’t think like people! They aren’t like you and me, they are the enemy!” You won’t here any of “Come, let us reason together”, but you will get a lot of “Come, let’s mock the bad guys!”

The litany of quotes has already come out, but I’ll add one thing: her hero was Joe McCarthy.

You know distracted, we are all sinners there are just as many in the Pubs party as there are in the Dems party, I' ll remind you again as Christian.s We can judge sinful, nasty and hateful behavior but only God can judge the intentions of peoples hearts. I do not care for the personality of Ann Colter, I think she in her way is not a good role model for our young American adults .:nope: Carlan

funny how the Dem party has draft dodgers, adulterers, supporters of porn, abortionists, terrorist supporters, etc…

seems the balance of sinfulness might not be on as even a keel as you seem to imply…

Typical liberal response they say they don’t judge and love everyone yet if you read any of her books or like some of her opinions you are evil and stupid!

Yep liberals: Do what I say, not what I do.

BTW: On McCarthy “Everything you think you know about McCarthy is a hegemonic lie. Liberals denounced McCarthy because they were afraid of getting caught, so they fought back like animals to hide their own collaboration with a regime as evil as the Nazis.” Ann Coulter’s book, “Treason.”

Some other authors who have voiced similar opinions include William Norman Grigg of the John Birch Society, and Medford Stanton Evans. These authors frequently cite new evidence, in the form of Venona decrypted Soviet messages,

Soviet espionage data now opened to the West, and newly released transcripts of closed hearings before McCarthy’s subcommittee, asserting that these have vindicated McCarthy, showing that many of his identifications of Communists were correct. These and other authors have said that Venona and the Soviet archives have revealed that the scale of Soviet espionage activity in the United States during the 1940s and 1950s was larger than many scholars suspected, and that this too is a vindication of McCarthy.

Now I agree that everything the Catholic Joseph McCarthy did was not right but he was right on a lot of things.

They do not constitute the core of her arguments. They are merely the wrappings.

And please show me where Miss Coulter stole an election as Franken did. They are not equivalents.
