Dearest Eternal Creator,
Your Chosen People gave life to Messiah, Who grants all spiritual orphans adoption and ingrafting through His new and everlasting Covenant, prophesied of old. Honoring our heritage, redeemed by Christ’s Body and Blood, mercifully look upon all souls in need of Your mercy and grace, especially those of the universally-persecuted seed of Abraham and Sarah. Comfort them and us with Your rod and staff, guiding us surely to Your victory, as we confirm ourselves in life and blessing. Lavish miracles of healing and conversion on all souls. All for Your honor and glory, and with humblest thanks and highest praise, raise up the “dried bones” and swiftly avenge Your martyrs who cry out, “How long, O Lord?” Let our sins be washed in the Blood of the Lamb that the Angel of Death may pass over us. AMEN

she does remind me of the little flower too…its her childlike trust in god when she prays for her self and others in her diary, and her love of nature…its a pity she had to die, i bet she would have made a big impact on the world ( look at the impact she’s already made and she’s deceased)…i hope i can meet her in heaven and be her friend…i think shes amazing…😃
Me too. Me too. I wrote my college application essay comparing myself to her. I wrote about how we are both fascinated with education and the world, our both postive attitude about people and the world, and our desire to write and change the world! I got in the college!

Anne and I are so alike. She has her film stars, I have my holy cards! lol

its touching how close she was to her father…maybe if she knew he had survived she could have hung on till the concentration camp was liberated…her poor father i felt sorry for too, he lost everybody, his wife and 2 kids…he sounded as lovely as anne, he was kindhearted, with not a bad word to say about others, and put others before himself by welcoming others into the annexe when it meant stretching their rations even further…i hope he’s in heaven too with anne…i bet they are inseperable 😃

Im re-reading the diary of Anne Frank and it inspired me to bump this post
i truely do believe that god saved her, she was lovely, i have her diary and have read it many times, although she wasnt overly showy when it came to religion she did pray and her diary shows that,

i think you could say a modified version of the st gertrude prayer

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory and especially for the soul of Anne Frank, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

And i beg you eternal father to please grant to me through the prayers and intercessions of all the holy souls in purgatory and especially through the prayers and intercessions of Anne Frank the following favours (name request)

amen

i dont see any problem with praying in that way, you are just praying for her and asking for a favour as you would with the holy souls in purgatory (which she could possibly be one) but i wouldnt pray directly to her, i would pray in this way then im praying directly to god and asking god to ask her to pray , then its in gods hands if he wants that to happen, god acts as a go between

Since God is outside of time, you can pray for Anne Frank(or anyone from the past) and ask Our Lord to give her whatever she needed for her salvation at the time of her death. That is one of the wonderful and comforting things about Catholicism.

I first read Anne Frank’s Diary when I was 6 or 7 years old. It was a truly amazing experience for me, and I read it many times over. I certainly believe she is in heaven with God. Her sufferings were great and her desire to live so inspiring. I have to think she is a martyre.
