If my soon to be ex wife(who cheated on me) moved on, and I have, but annulment process may take years, is it wrong to have sex, even with no intentions to hurt said wife?

And no, not just sex with anyone but someone very dear to me. Wife got 2 different guys(1 whom she cheated me with, and now she said she is with another)… I never even had sex since we part ways, and to be honest, its hard.

So just needing advice. THANKS!

Yes.

Gravely sinful (mortal sin).

One is presumed to be married (and thus acts as a married person…albeit separated) until the marriage is found to have been invalid (all things being equal).

And even if your marriage would have already been found to have been invalid (annulment) One would then not be committing adultery but one would still be committing fornication (like other sexual sins --a grave sin).

In Jesus Christ is true life. Do not do anything that will separate you from him…but remain in him (and if need be --repent entirely of any grave sin and return via confession). Living in his Church. Everyone has his difficulties… his cross to carry --but in Jesus is our life and hope and he helps us. Turn to him.

Bookcat has pretty well covered it…👍

Sex outside of marriage is a sin.
You are not able to remarry unless the previous marriage is annulled.

My suggestion to you would be to get in touch with your priest ASAP so that you can get much more detailed and personal counseling on these matters.

May God guide you

Peace
James

It is wrong to have sexual relations with any person you are not married to. So, yes, it is a sin to fornicate and commit adultery.
And no, not just sex with anyone but someone very dear to me.
Someone dear to you is not the same as someone married to you.

So, again, no.

Also, it is not prudent to be forming such an attachment to a woman you are not free to date or marry.
Wife got 2 different guys(1 whom she cheated me with, and now she said she is with another)…
So, your argument seems to be that since your wife was unfaithful, you can be too.

Sorry, no.
I never even had sex since we part ways, and to be honest, its hard.
And you might never have sexual relations again if your marriage is found to be valid. If and when you are granted a decree of nullity, and if and when you get married in the Catholic Church, then you can think about sexual relations.
