Annulment for a non-Catholic?

My mom is a quaker and my dad is catholic… Ive had some catholics tell me that their marriage isn’t valid because it was a civil marriage before a judge…

Not exactly an annulement scenario but oh well…
A marriage between a Catholic and a non-Catholic can certainly be valid provided the Catholic followed canon law. So, the validity of this particular marriage depends upon whether your father followed procedures and obtained the proper permissions and/or dispensations.

it think it’s only a natural marriage or whatever its called… But my mom is a baptized christian just not catholic so that may make it a valid marriage not really sure…

All i know is that I was brought up in the catholic church…

Marriage between two baptized parties is a sacrament. A marriage is a natural marriage when one or both parties is unbaptized
