I converted to Catholicism about 30 years ago, after which I married into a Catholic family. Divorce was necessary after 18 years of marriage, and at that time, my ex-wife applied for and was granted an annulment. I have been away from the Church since then, but wish to return to Mass and the Sacraments. Does her annulment encompass me, or must I now apply for myself?

The annulment was a determination that the attempted marriage was not valid, so it applies to both of you.

Welcome back!

[edited[/COLOR] ]Make a good confession, find a committee you would like to serve on, attend Mass weekly or daily and receive the body and blood of Christ. May our Lord walk beside you on your spiritual journey. God bless. Praying for you.
