Sorry for my brainless use of the word nullify. I did not inspect my words for proper usage. I knew what I meant and just assumed you all would as well.

In spite of what it may seem, I am aware of the Church teachings. Sometimes people on this forum make mountains out of molehills when it comes to semantics.

Don’t worry, I’m not implying you don’t know the teachings. Neither was your use of the terms brainless. It’s just important to stress that Tribunals don’t actually erase a marriage but merely “spot” an invalid one. It’s definitely not just semantics and certainly not a mole hill. The ability or not to dissolve marriage is a very important matter. Some people confuse not just the terms but the whole concept, which is something to avoid.
