Today, I went to go to Mass with the intention of going to Confession afterwards. When I got there, instead of the regular Mass, there was a Mass for anointing of the sick, a bit later. So I went to it and, as I have a condition, I went up and received the anointing. After Mass, Father said that the anointing forgives sins.
So my question is, does Anointing of the Sick forgive all sins, including mortal sins? Is there no need to go to Confession after this (until further sins are committed)?
