Pax Christi!

Tonight we get a big nasty from 1957: The Deadly Mantis, with William Hopper, Craig Stevens and Alix Talton as the hot lady.

The U.S. military, even with a paleontologist, is no match for a prehistoric praying and preying mantis!

What will happen?? Let’s watch!

God bless, and save us from icky old bugs!

Although not half as scary as the real-life Deadly ISIS, at least these science-fiction films provide us with some diversionary entertainment. Thanks so much for informing us about them.

The family left town for the weekend so I won’t need to compete for the television with anyone. Hopefully, I can see it in its entirety! sounds like a good movie to watch when your brain needs a break from the terrible news we are faced with daily.

Pax Christi!

Old movies are a good escape. So is baseball. And EWTN. They all help my sanity and sobriety.

Alix was Miss Georgia circa 1940.

God bless clean TV.

Yet another instance when a giant can of Raid would come in handy.

Pax Christi!

The praying mantis is the only insect that can swivel its head. Unnatural, I say!

Yes, a can of whup-bug would be great!

God bless.
