Another break-up. Need your prayers

Hi all. Some of you may recently remember my post about not being sure if my relationship is the right one. I was with this man for 7 months and he is a really good guy.

Last night everything just came to a head on and we decided to take a break which probably means a break-up. I’ve just been conflicted about certain things in the relationship (feeling like I need to feel more inspired by a partner, feeling that the communication and intellectual connection isn’t that enjoyable, plus his advanced age and lack of financial stability meaning that we would be dating for years before marriage) and I decided to let go.

I’m not sure if my reasons are good enough, but I’m just asking for some prayers. I feel really let down as this is probably my fourth break up at 28, and I feel that time is running out for me to meet someone. Especially as all my friends are in a relationship or married.

You’re not running out of time. If anything, this breakup makes you closer to meeting the person who you’re meant to be with. It sounds like it has given you some clarity in what you’re looking for in a potential spouse.

It’s better to be married later and have a lasting marriage than marry sooner and be unhappy and/or divorced.
