Still, we’d hear something from them. Actually, if it’s a Catholic school and it’s in their diocese, they ought to be able to cause the school’s administration a lot of grief, I’d think. I think suing would be good if it’s an independently owned school. They had to pay big in the sex abuse scandal. It may seem like an ulterior motive, but the Church should have a case, being the leaders of the Church of which the school allegedly is.
Otherwise, you get scandal–the scandal the masses never hear about, which is that of impressionable Catholic youth not getting taught their faith or being taught or exposed to that which is diametrically opposed to its teachings (of course, it’s a worse scandal when Catholic parents treat the Faith as something you deal with at school or Sunday Mass and the rest is other work, ball games, raunchy sitcoms, etc.).
