Is a Confession still valid if a Priest says: I absolve you of all your sins in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. Instead of “I absolve you of your sins in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit”.

Does the addition of " of all " affect validity?

And, Does it affect validity if I don’t say my penance right away?

That absolution is valid. dont worry about that.

even if you dont do your penance, your sins are still forgiven.

Fr. David, If you read this, I’d like your opinion.

I’m sure it’s valid. That’s the tiniest of technicalities. I wouldn’t worry.

As for the penance, I don’t think it matters if you wait a while. I wouldn’t advise waiting long, but the penance is the completion of the Confession. Once it’s done, Jesus’ forgiveness through the priest comes into complete affect. Do you want to wait a while before being forgiven . . . ?
