Another cousin succumbing to cancer

Last August I lost my cousin Wes to cancer.
I found out tonight that his youngest brother Wayne has been given six more months to live.
Wes and his wife worked for a number of years as (protestant) missionaries in northern Canada. (His wife left him and divorced him quite a while ago and seems to have lost her faith.)

My mother tells me that Wes is not afraid of being dead but is really scared of the dying process as he knows there will be a lot of pain and suffering involved.
As a protestant I imagine that he hasn’t been exposed to the idea of suffering with Christ.

Please pray for him and his soul. He comes from a long line of Mennonites.

God of power and mercy, you have made death itself the gateway to eternal life. Look with love on our dying brother Wayne, and make him one with Your Son in His suffering and death, that, sealed with the blood of Christ, he may come before you free from sin. Amen.

Lord, please grant this afflicted soul healing by your hand, through the intercession of Our Lady. Minister to him and all his family and those who suffer with him in this trial with the help of holy angels. Lead all to your Sacred Heart now and forever. Amen.
 
Most Divine, I pray for Wes, that you may grant him the necessary healing if it is Your will.

Tell your cousin to start eating alot of veggie’s. Also tell him to eat Jinga

I am truly sorry for all your family’s struggles. I fervently pray for the repose of the soul of Wes, and I pray that Wayne may be forgiven all his sins, come to conversion into the fullness of faith in the Catholic Church, and be fully and completely healed of his cancer and all his other ills. I also pray that he may find the strength and courage to suffer through all his pain, uniting his sufferings to Christ for the salvation of all the world, and that he may be consoled through his pain by the love and tenderness of Christ and his loved ones. I extend these prayers to all those who have died or are currently afflicted with cancer. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Wes and Wayne’s guardian angels, and St. Ezekiel Moreno y Diaz.

Dear Reg I am so sorry to learn that your cousin Wayne has terminal cancer. He is in my prayers.

Lord please hear our prayers for Wayne who has been given a dignosis of cancer with a short tiem to live.Lord please if it be Your will please grant him a miracle and grant him healing…Please comfort him and guide his doctors to have the knowledge and skills necessary to give the best treatment possible.Lord please bless al this family.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal WAYNE. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. Despite what the doctors say if this be Your Will I ask you to send forth your healing power into WAYNE’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Jude, the glorious apostle faithful servant and friend of Jesus,
the patron of hopeless cases of things despaired of,
pray for this Cousin Wayne who is sick .
Make use we implore you of this particular privilege accorded to you,
to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to our assistance in this great time of need,
that he may receive the consolations and succor of Heaven
in all his necessities, tribulations and sufferings,
particularly to help our friend’s Cousin Wayne to get better from his illness
and to give him good health
and to guide his path,
and that we may bless God with you
and all the elect forever.
I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude,
to be ever mindful of this great favor,
and I will never cease to honor you
as my special and powerful patron
and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, the “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy.

I lost my cousin and best friend 2 years ago. We were born 10 days apart. There is a void in my life even today. I was fortunate to spend the last 3 weeks in the hospital. We talked, laughed and shared our secrets.
