Bashir Tantray, a convert from Islam to Christianity, was murdered in India. Three things to learn from this:
  1. Muslims do convert.
  2. They do get killed for it.
  3. Muslims don’t protest the murder.

Once again we see the typical Islamic response echoed on the board. Silence.

i got this from barnabas’ fund mail:

Fear in Iraq
…Christians like the thousands of frightened Iraqis who face Christmas in the context of escalating anti-Christian violence. In the most shocking report from Iraq we have received, a toddler was kidnapped in Baghdad in October 2006. The mother could not afford to pay the ransom, and so the kidnappers killed the child. They returned the body to the mother. The little child had been beheaded, roasted and was served on a mound of rice. In another incident a 14-year-old Christian boy was held down by his limbs and beheaded, or, as Iraqi Christians have described it, “crucified”. His Muslim attackers called him a “dirty Christian sinner” and chanted “Allahu akbar” (Allah is great).

On 4th October a bomb exploded in the mainly Christian district of Camp Sara, Baghdad. As people gathered round to help the wounded there was a second, larger explosion. Nine Christians were killed. The attack was similar to two consecutive car-bombs, small and large, detonated outside a church in Baghdad on Sunday 24th September
On 10th October Paulos Iskander, an Iraqi church minister, was abducted in Mosul. His family attempted to meet the kidnappers’ demands - a $40,000 ransom, and a public repudiation by Iskander’s church of the remarks about Islam quoted by Pope Benedict XVI in September. They began arranging several loans, and thirty large posters were placed on churches in the city, distancing the Christians from the Pope’s words. However, Iskander’s decapitated body was discovered on 12th October, dumped in an outlying suburb of Mosul. His hands and legs had been severed, and his body showed signs of severe torture. On 19th November another church leader, Doglas Yousef Al Bazy (34) went missing; it is feared he has also been kidnapped and may suffer as Paulos did. The church community are anxiously waiting and praying for news and for his safe return.
It is not just church leaders being attacked. In late November it was reported that bakers in Baghdad were being attacked because the diamond-shaped loaves of bread they produced vaguely resembled crosses. Christian girls have increasingly become the target in a spate of kidnappings. The girls are taken at gunpoint and are frequently raped and abused, only released if their families pay large ransoms. The shame of their ordeal, which is felt far more in Middle Eastern culture than in the West, can make the victims suicidal. One girl begged her parents not to pay the ransom, too ashamed that she had been gang raped by her kidnappers to want to go home. The family did pay and she was returned to them, but the following morning she was found dead from an overdose of sleeping pills.

Pag, oh yes that compares to murdering an innocent man who just happened to convert to Christianity. This is the problem. No Muslim, or their willing allies, will dare to protest against this murder.

  1. Muslims don’t protest the murder.
Here’s another problem caused by having no ultimate authority.

Ayatolla Komeini seems to have been the most powerful Islamic spokesman for at least the past 50 years. Or is it Osama?

The deafening silence on the part of muslims, even those who call themselves as “moderate” muslims, is eloquent testimony to the fact that many muslims tacitly support such murderous attacks against so-called apostates. Silence in the face of such barbarism is consent.

In the documentary “Obsession” there are some clips of a Saudi cleric discussing how the Islamic people in the Arab world are only teaching their children how glorious it is to die for Allah and to despise this life. He spoke eloquently on teaching them to love life and to live in peace with others for Allah.
Also there is a clip from Al Jazira with a reporter decrying the murderous barbaric activities committed by muslims.
The film has several muslims who speak out against the radicals.
Of course primarily the film shows radical Islam at it’s most usually seen. Clerics waving swords saying death to America. Children denigrating Jews. Rank and file radicals stomping American flags and screaming about destroying the west.
The evil one must enjoy this hideous behavior so much. It is his glory.

Dont you think thats a bit of an over-exaggeration? Just about any gov’t with any power commits something that would certaintly be considered ethically wrong in the minds of most ppl. Yet the citizens (on the whole) in any country is either ignorant or ignores these activities.

I think the responders showed that by no comdemning the practise of exploiting poor children for your own amusement when you are supposed to be there to save them. (Im assuming:p ) You dont hate children, even iraqi children (I hope), but your minds are too busy on other things like being mad at muslims:)

I think we need to take a step back and try to be objective instead of categorizing everyone for the actions of a few.👍

You mean the obnoxious childish teasing of the child by someone with bottled water? I rarely approve of much I see on Youtube. And I didn’t that either.
Suicide bombers whose families encourage their children to hate non-muslims while encouraging their children to die for Allah? Teaching children to seek death and take others with them? Saudi schools in our own country teach hate of the Jews and the west? Referring to Jews as apes and dogs? Using women and children as human shields? Sharia laws?(aina.org/news/20050429165726.htm)
That’s not childish. I find that evil.
Israelis don’t teach their children to blow themselves up and take muslims with them. Americans don’t do it either.
But there is at least one thing that will hold the Islamic world back from conquering. The Sunnis and Shi’ites hate each other as badly as they hate us. And they will keep trying to destroy each other to the ruination of their respective countries.

Pag, in the West people protest the government all the time. We also have this thing called democracy where we periodically change our governments. It’s a great idea, but the Muslims think it is evil. I would be delighted if suddenly the Muslims began to truly protest against terrorism.
