Thank you all again. I saw the old/new primary care physician today, and he is still the same wonderful doctor I remembered. He helped me adjust meds and checked me out. Looks like I may have another fractured rib, but that could turn out to be a good thing. It may allow the oncologist to give me an iv med that is used to help prevent breast cancer from metastasizing into the bones, and it also helps to rebuild bone mass for those with osteoporosis. But it’s mainly used for cancer patients, and I may be able to get it, if this is truly a bone fracture due to a certain thing. I forget what it was he said. So it could turn out to be a good thing!
I also have something called…I wish I’d had him write it down. It begins with an ‘R’, and cold makes some of my fingers turn a color that looks like a dead person, and they feel very strange. Must watch for dying flesh. Ugh.
I go back the first week in the New Year to this doctor’s practice to get blood work done, and see him the following week. By then he’ll also have results from the cardiologists’ tests.
I’m just asking again for prayers that I won’t be an invalid. That scares me more than anything. I must be able to care for myself.
Tonight I offer up all my aches and pains for all of you here besides for the souls in purgatory. I’m sure they don’t mind sharing. And I ask for their prayers for all of us, too.
