Another great loss

I can’t believe I’m writing this again. Yesterday my stepmom (Beatrice) died. Today my most beloved aunt (Margaret) passed away.

I know it hasnt’ even sunk in yet, and I feel like the walking wounded, as does the rest of the family.

Thank you all for your prayers.

I’m so sorry to hear of your losses. I just read something from a book on Mother Teresa.

“After losing two of her sisters in her order, Mother Teresa made a memorial statement:
The story of our two dearest Sisters who went to serve the poor and the sick, and their reward was that Jesus was very pleased with their effort so he took them himself…When a gardener comes to pluck the flowers, he takes the best. The same with this Jesus of ours.”

May The Lord bring His Consolation to you and to your family and friends at this time of great loss and grief…“My Ways are not your ways” - Lord help us all to insight that Your Ways are always the best ways…and support us as humanly we strive to come to grips with this knowledge surpassing all our understanding…
