Another holiday here, please pray

For all those who are lonely, holidays make it harder, even a ‘smaller one’ like Memorial Day.

For those who are hungry, and may have little to eat.

For those who have lost loved ones, family, friends.

Please, as any of the people I described above may be looking out their windows and seeing families and friends gathered for a cook-out, sharing friendship and good food, pray that they may be comforted by Our Lord in their loneliness and/or need.
 
Have said a prayer today ,on Memorial Day, for your intentions.For the lonely, the hungry and those who have lost loved ones. God Bless you. Peace.🙂

Dear God, birthdays, Christmas and days of special celebration are days of particular sadness and loneliness and sense of deprivation for many isolated individuals, so please embrace them with Your Spirit of love, and encourage other people to brighten these days by somehow including them, through some kindness or warmth.
 
What a beautiful prayer request. God, I pray that all those that are lonely, fearful, or just lost, look to you for comfort and know that they are Not alone for they have You …the greatest friend of all.

Lord, thank you for the blessings you have
bestowed upon my family.
We thank you for allowing us to open our
home to those who are lonely on holidays.
We pray that others will do the same.
Guide all christian people to open their hearts
and their homes.
We ask this in the name of Jesus!

Thank you so much for bringing this to the attention of everyone. We always invite several people who have no family (at least in-State). Today we had a retired Marine (Vet from Nam), a lady who has never married nor had children, and a young college student visiting from out of state. Our home is always open.
 
Heavenly Father:

Please bless everyone on this holiday, especially those who are alone or lonely. Let them feel Your presence and Your love.
