Yesterday, I was given another job interview for tomorrow at 2pm at a musician’s store (musical instruments and such). Since I have a background in retail and music, this might be a good fit for me. The hours at the store are excellent, and the manager said he would be willing to give me Sundays off since I usually serve at Church. Please pray I do well! I prayed at Mass that God would give me the courage and success I need to do very well at the interview and ace the questions. 😃

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

The Lord certainly is looking out for you. He keeps opening doors and one will be the
right door.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.
Praise him all creatures here below.
Praise God above ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Thanks everyone! I will be heading to the interview in about 2 hours. I’m getting a little bit of butterflies in my stomach, but I’ll be fine. Since I have so much experience in retail, I’ll most likely ace the interview questions. I’m praying to do well! 😃

Thank you to all who prayed for me. I attended the interview, and it went ok, but I feel I could have done better. I was not offered a job because the manager told me there were no openings available at this time, but he always brings people in who he thinks are good candidates. He told me he would call me for a second interview if a position opens up. I think he was interviewing people in case an employee leaves during the seasonal period.

Please pray that, somehow, I will be able to secure a job sometime soon. It’s hard not to feel a little defeated and discouraged after an unsuccessful interview, but I’m keeping my chin up and hoping for the best. God let this happen for a reason, and though I don’t see it now, He’s got a plan for my future. I’m praying that it will be revealed soon.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my financial needs. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to pay the debts I owe and repair my car. Help me to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that I may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you. My mom was quite upset when she found out what had happened. She didn’t understand why the manager called me in the first place if there were no positions open. Had I known this, I probably would have declined the interview. She knows I cannot afford to waste gas right now. Why do some managers get your hopes up? 🤷

Lord, please help DaughterofMary6 to secure a good job soon. May she keep faithful and strong in spirit until she finds new work (and throughout her new employment). May she draw great strength from receiving you in the sacraments and through her prayer life. This child of yours has so much to give: please help her to find the perfect way to give of herself to others and to support herself and make ends meet. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

I have to mention that even though you are in a spiritual crucible right now you will exit a more beautiful and fragrant flower in the Lord’s garden. God bless you and your mother.
