Fallen into a pool yes, but no to the phone.
Have you ever had apple pie with a slice of cheese?

Yes…with either colby or cheddar, it’s a winner…I usually eat an apple and a chunk of cheese together for lunch…

Have you ever said ‘the heck with the bowl’, and eaten a carton of ice cream straight from the carton?

I don’t know a single adult who has never done that. 🍨 🥣 🚫

Have you ever gone to see a movie and were the only one in the theater?

Well, how big is the carton? I’m only talking about pints and quarts…I recently helped two priests finish off a quart and a half container, but that’s not quite the same thing.

No on the hole in one.

Have you ever had a water pipe burst in your home?

Well, how big is the carton?
Years ago, they started downsizing cartons instead of raising prices…the standard here is now quart-and-a-half instead of half-gallon…the quart-and-a-half is good for two sittings, assuming hot,
humid weather and being alone in the house [no longer likely…]…
Have you ever had a water pipe burst in your home?
Yes…a cold winter about 35 years ago…the hot water pipe to the bathtub on the inside wall of the bathroom froze and burst…we had just moved in, and the people we bought the house from took care of it…it was 20-25 degrees below zero F that night.

Have you ever had strawberry-rhubarb pie?

I have seen ball-lightning once and bead-lightning a few times.
Have you ever seen it rain on one side of a street, but not the other?

i just want to know why it kept following me to the other side of the street everytime i crossed the road to get away from it.

is this why the chicken crossed the road? to get out of the rain?

a definite maybe

have you ever lost an umbrella to the rain and wind (actually had it pulled from your grasp)?

Not yet…I’ve had them blown inside-out a few times…

Have you ever awakened from a long sleep, and not known whether you were seeing dawn or dusk?

Yes. Well, sort of. Years ago, a friend of mine woke me up when she called me at the hotel I was staying at to attend a week-long conference for work. It was just before 6:00 and nearly dark outside, but that was hardly surprising in winter. I started freaking out because I was supposed to have breakfast with a VP of my employer at 6:30 and I thought I was going to be late. My friend was confused but simply asked me to call her back when I had time. It was in turning on the TV that I discovered that it was 6:00pm, the day before this scheduled breakfast, and I had only been asleep for about an hour. 😆

We do save just about all of them, to check against the credit card statements…

Have you ever posted on the wrong thread?

I’ve never played chess, though I would like to learn.

Have you ever picked up a hitchhiker?

No, I haven’t.

Have you ever learned a foreign language through self study?

No…I bought my computer so I could do exactly that, and I’ve tried, but languages have always been difficult for me.

Have you ever slept in a tent in sub-freezing weather?

Have you ever slept in a tent in sub-freezing weather?
i spent one weekend where it was so cold:
the water after being taken off the fire was ice before you set it on the table
the politicians had their hands in their OWN pockets!
my mail broke when I tried to pry open the envelope!
the muggers were phoning in sick!
the Polar Bears were buying fur coats!

alas yes, fond memories (NOT). many spent the whole dang weekend in the big troop tent. it was a real Klondike derby.

have you ever re-gifted a present to the person who gave it to you in the first place?

No, I keep meticulous gift records precisely to avoid that.

Have you ever broken something irreplaceable?
