Dear Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all,
grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.

Amen.
(God bless you Baptista

Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives and today we thank you that our sister Peggy is still on the road to healing. We lift up the intentions of our sister Peggy for your mercy and grace as she endures the next round of treatments and must be very careful to follow the guidelines of her doctors. Please comfort her and help her to wear the cross with elegance and a minimum of discomfort, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please keep our sister strong, courageous, and upbeat as she continues her journey of life.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death. Amen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits
who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Oh, Prayer Warriors, thank you so much for being so faithful in your prayers for me. I have been offline most of the time, either because of storms in the area, or because I am so exhausted. The radiation oncologist said this is normal. He put it like this - ‘We’ve been beating you up badly, and you don’t have any reserves to fall back on.’ So I’ve needed naps, and even just lying down to rest. I probably wouldn’t be here now except I came to ask prayers for my nephew, John. I’m very upset about this, and about other things more so than I normally would be. I just don’t have the strength to keep a ‘stiff upper lip’ right now. But only 4 more treatments. Friday is the end of the radiation. Praise God. And hopefully it won’t take me too long to get some strength back. In the meantime, I am still praying for the intentions of all here. And thank you again for praying for mine.

Continue to pray for you dear Baptista and your nephew …
Be firm and take care
