Personally I like to just use whatever’s handy to get the gist of the passage, and then go to one of the various online direct interlinear translations to nail down the specifics.
The interlinear is very hard to read straight up, but once you have an idea of what a sentence is already saying, it’s a lot easier to see how various specific translations can vary from the intent.
P.s. Try putting some line breaks in your posts. Long ones like this are very hard to read when they’re one giant block

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I know nothing in the way of biblical Greek or Hebrew. Thanks for the second bit of advice. I put them in in my 2nd post.

That’s the beuaty of an interlinear translation. You don’t need to know the language. It is a word for word literal translation. Check out this link an you’ll see what I mean. It’s the entire Septuigent in interlinear. Its veryy interesting to read the text in a literal translation. But you’ll see what I mean about wanting to read a mondern translation first.
