Another Resignation from Order of Canada over Morgentaler Debacle

OTTAWA, April 20, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Governor General Michaelle Jean has officially accepted Frank Chauvin’s resignation from the Order of Canada, according to information published in the Canada Gazette, on April 17, 2010.

Mr. Chauvin, who was inducted into the Order in 1987 for his work in support of Haitian orphans, announced his intention to return his Order of Canada medal in July 2008 in protest over the appointment of Canadian arch-abortionist Dr. Henry Morgentaler to the Order.

“Yes, it’s definitely going. I don’t want to be painted with the same brush as Morgentaler. It’s definitely going back,” Mr. Chauvin said at the time, explaining that he believes the probity of the Order of Canada was tainted by Morgentaler’s induction into it.

the Order of Canada is an empty trinket of tin. It means nothing. All those with a human conscious should return them.

It actually means less than nothing-it would be shameful to wear it and those who do shame thenselves.
You should see the T shirt I had designed.It shows the medal dripping with the blood of the unborn and it says boldly"Disgraced and Defiled"I wear it to ALL quasi government functions and federal offices and people either comment very favourably or glare silently while I smile sweetly at them.Hoping all the while that they will say something so I can evangelise.They glare because they know in their secret heart of hearts it’s murder and they hate to be reminded of it.That’s why they’re trying to silence us.There are not enough jails in Canada to hold pro-lifers who are willing to undergo martyrdom.They would have to build thosands more.

March for Life Canada Expects Biggest Turnout Ever

OTTAWA, March 3, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The organizer of Canada’s National March For Life, Campaign Life Coalition, is predicting that, with the help of a massive turnout from Ottawa area Catholic schools, 20,000 people will participate in this year’s annual pro-life march on May 13th, 2010.

20,000 may not seem a lot to Americans but we have 1/10th your population and are spread out along the border for 4,000 miles and Ottawa is a smaller City even though it is our Nation’s Capital.We just had our Silent witness for the unborn across Canada.We have 40 days for life and martyrs in big cities who pray next to abortion clinics(the law does not allow prayer or counselling within so many hundreds of yards)and these old ladies and old men are regularly arrested and in Toronto taken to the Don Jail which is a 150 year old hellhole and held there with no bail until their coutdate.Once released back they go and the process is repeated.These people are living Saints whose place in heaven is assured.
